our MicroFarm:

we are bringing big cottage-core energy with our flower farm in the city.

our microfarm is a small plot of land, nestled behind our floristry studio which plays a bigger role in the operation than meets the eye

read on to understand how…

At our flower microfarm, we strive to cultivate beauty while nurturing the environment. We are passionate about being a sustainable business and taking steps to minimize our ecological footprint.

Here's how our practices help us achieve that goal

  1. Soil Enrichment: We believe in the power of giving back to the earth. By mulching used plant and flower matter, we create nutrient-rich compost that enriches the soil. This sustainable practice not only reduces waste but also enhances the health and vitality of our flower beds, resulting in vibrant and thriving blooms.

  2. Circular Economy: We embrace the concept of a circular economy by utilizing natural and organic materials in our floral-wool production. This floral-wool, crafted from environmentally friendly sources, serves as a nurturing medium for raising seedlings. Once these seedlings have fulfilled their purpose, we return the floral-wool to the environment, completing the cycle and minimizing waste.

  3. Responsible Sourcing: We are committed to sourcing our materials responsibly. Our flowers are grown on-site, minimizing transportation emissions and supporting local biodiversity. By reducing the distance between our microfarm and your event, we ensure freshness and minimize our carbon footprint.

  4. Water Conservation: We understand the importance of water conservation in a world facing increasing challenges due to climate change. Through careful irrigation techniques and the use of water-saving technologies, we strive to minimize water waste and promote sustainable water management.

  • Our microfarm is closed to the public, however we are working on a community-based initiative that might see a select number of people get to experience the microfarm by participating in events. Please make sure you are signed up for updates to be the first in the know.

  • We do often provide flowers and foliage for other florists. If there are any flowers we are growing that you are in need of, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
